It's a condition that tends to cause periodic limb movements in sleep (PLMS) or jerking of the legs during sleep. The arms can also be affected, though this isn't as common.

In any case, sleeping with a partner who has Restless Leg Syndrome can be something of a challenge. While they are asleep, your partner will be totally unable to curb their kicking, so a good night's sleep for them can involve a poor night's sleep for you. Even if you don't actually get kicked, the movement of your partner's legs could wake you up, pull away the blankets, or both.

1. Go for Memory Foam or Latex

In general, memory foam and latex are the best materials to pick for a mattress that you're going to be sharing with a partner who suffers from Restless Leg Syndrome. People usually find memory foam a little more supportive, but natural latex is better for people who tend to sleep hot since it is a much more breathable material.

2. Opt for Pillow-Top
